On the evenings of Thursday 4th and Friday 5th August Westminster Opera Co. will present Don Pasquale by Donizetti, one of the most charming of all bel canto operas. An immediate hit at its Paris premiere at the Theatre Italien in 1843, Don Pasqule has remained a firm favourite all over the world: the story of young lovers outwitting, and finally winning over a recalcitrant older generation.
