Clare Tunney

Clare is currently residing in Germany as a member of Opernstudio at Staatsoper Stuttgart and debuted as Papagena in Die Zauberflöte.
Here's what she had to say about her WOCo. experience:

'WOCO gave me a great opportunity to explore new repertoire in a really encouraging environment! I played Mimì in the 2019 production of La Bohème. It's a role I have always wanted to play, and I'm so.glad I had the chance to learn and perform it with singers at similar points in their career. 
Working in the chateaux de panloy was an absy dream! The setting was incredible and despite being an outdoor performance, accoustically it was amazing to work in. 
I am currently working as a Soprano at Staatsoper Stuttgart in the Opernstudio. Tentatively, this year I should be performing as Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, however this is all sadly controlled by Covid!'
